Not sure where this will all go, but I am an avid reader who just happens to be a librarian.
I’ll review and comment on what I read and how I feel about books, publishing, and the world from time to time. My policy is to be as honest as I can without being hurtful.
Welcome and feel free to let me know how you feel.
Ed
I look forward to reading your thoughts.

Glad to find your blog, especially your piece about the masterful Mal Peet’s “Life” (whose “Tamar” I adored.)
Got to ask. Is that photo at the top of Painshill Park in Cobham?
I truly don’t know where the photo was taken. Sorry. But it is beautiful, is it not? Makes me wish I was there at this very moment. Glad you found our blog, as well.

As a faithful reader of your blog, I wanted to share this link about library buildings with you. Wasn’t sure which post to share it on (and I am no longer on FB) so I went back to the beginning. Sorry if you have seen it before. I really enjoy your posts and look forward to them coming to my inbox.

I LOVE librarians. The library has always been my 2nd home; even in my long career as an educator, i visited the public library several times a week to get books for my students. In retirement, I am still an avid reader! Thank you!!!!!!
Hi, Ed. I just now saw your kind words about me in your 2015 review of Neely Tucker’s “Murder, D.C.” Thanks so much. Fact is, I hadn’t read Tucker until I picked up an ARC of his third book, which will be published later this summer. I’m a third of the way through, and so far I like it fine. My fifth Mulligan novel, “The Dread Line,” will be published in September. If you’d like an ARC, send me your address and I’ll mail you a copy. I am: Bruce DeSilva, bdesilva@optimum.net
Bruce,
I sent you an email with my address. Thanks so much.
Ed
Bruce–for some reason the email did not go through. My address is: Ed Goldberg, 19 Edwards Street, Apt. 2E, Roslyn Heights NY 11577. I’m a big fan and have blogged about your previous books as well as posted reviews on Librarything. Thanks so much. Ed
